Scott Bridges began his directing career in 2002 by directing the debut film from Silverwood Films, “A Nothing Kinda Day.” An award winning short film, Scott had the opportunity to translate all he had learned about story in the theatre to cinema. He later directed the one act play “Stuffed” at The Beverly Hills Playhouse for their first annual One Act Festival. He later Assistant Directed the feature film Devil’s Grove in Association with Tempered Entertainment.
Scott has also had the privilege to serve as the founding Artistic Director of The Pickering Street Players, a for-profit children’s theatre based in Los Angeles. Founded and supported by Kelly Gonda, The Pickering Street players sought to bring children from varying backgrounds together to learn and grew in the theatre. For the first two years, Scott supervised 3 coordinators to direct and produce 5 successful and exciting children’s productions.
